I’m Nat. Designer, Illustrator and all-round creative. I’m best-known for my gin bottle art and botanical prints. You may well have seen my Hendricks Gin Bottle poster – this is the one which people tend to associate me with…
When asked what I do for a living, I find it hard to answer. This is because I work on such a vast range of projects. One day I can be sitting at my computer designing a menu for a coffee shop, and the next I’ll be painting a mural or a cake.
I’ve been doing this for just over 10 years now. During this time, I’ve worked in a wide range of creative areas, starting out as an In-house Designer for a clothing brand, and then going solo and setting myself up as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator. I’ve done a lot of work for the hospitality industry and therefore naturally my specialism has fallen to illustrating food and drink. I’ve even taken my specialism to the extreme and I paint on food for my hand-painted wedding cake business. But I’m a traditionalist at heart and I find that nothing can truly replace good old-fashioned pens and pencils when it comes to creating art. I’m probably best-known for my gin bottle art (my Hendricks bottle being the most popular to date!) which are available to buy as prints on my Etsy shop as well as a range of birthday cards.
When I’m not working, I’m a busy mum of two. I’m usually out and about with my two cheeky boys, hunting bugs, looking at tractors, making mud pies, and everything else that boys like doing.
